Certified Data Center Expert - CSILTIFM5000

Course Description:

CDCE is a 5 day expert level course that prepares participants to run a project required to scope, plan, design, implement, and retire or move a mission critical data center up to a “Tier Level 4.” Using lecture, design case studies, and practical discussion, CDCE is the only course in the world offering an educational program of this kind.

Special attention is given to critical aspects such as how to maintain momentum of a build / move project on schedule and within budget over its life cycle and in line with business requirements.

CDCE also teaches you how to test and commission a newly built site. CDCE builds upon knowledge gained in the CDCP and CDCS courses. Participants who pass the exam will join industry’s elite data center design experts.

Target Audience

The primary audience for this course is the data center owner, investor, facilities and / or operations manager, or IT professional working in the data center. The participant should have oversight accountability or responsibility for achieving and improving high availability and manageability of the data center and should be involved, or wish to be involved in the design/build, renovation, or relocation of the data center.

Certification and Accreditation

The course concludes with a 60 multiple choice question certification exam. Passing is 75% or 45 correct out to 60 questions. Attendees who pass the exam will receive the official “Certified Data Center Expert” certificate accredited by ICOR and in addition earn 3.5 CEU credits for ICOR.

ICOR’s Data Center Certifications offer data center professionals the opportunity to be recognized for the expertise they have acquired. In addition, employers can depend on hiring certified professionals who have the qualifications they need to run their mission critical sites. Vendors can get a step up on their competitors when holding a data center certification. EXIN, a global, independent, and not for profit examination provider, also accredits the CDCE course.
